Zimmerman Excavating is a leading faith based excavation contractor located in Ephrata PA. We specialize in meeting the needs of our customers in the residential, commercial, industrial, municipal, and agricultural markets. 

History

Our company was founded in 1960 by Richard Zimmerman. He saw the need in our community for someone to assist farmers and builders with moving dirt for building foundations, driveways, and other miscellaneous projects. He started out with a tractor backhoe and added other machines to his fleet as necessary to complete the tasks he was asked to accomplish. He was joined by his son Gerald and they continued to pursue the growing commercial market and continued to grow the business. Today we continue to meet the needs of our community in various markets with a Team that excels at being part of your team and an arsenal of 40+ pieces of equipment.
